Shipping rates and delivery areas
Power Surge ships throughout the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, and other available Canadian destinations.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination, order weight, and products ordered. Any applicable shipping charges and Northwest Territories environmental handling fees will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Orders may ship from more than one location and may arrive in separate packages. Where this occurs, you will not be charged additional shipping beyond the rate shown at checkout.
Order processing and delivery times
Orders are processed in the order they are received. Delivery times vary by product availability, destination, carrier schedules, weather, and other factors outside our control.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Northern shipments may be affected by weather, road conditions, barge, ferry, ice-road, or air-carrier schedules.
We will send a shipping confirmation when your order has been fulfilled. Tracking information will be included when it is available from the carrier.
Large, heavy, and freight-sensitive items
Some products may require additional freight handling due to their size, weight, or delivery requirements. This may include paper products, furniture, office equipment, computers, printers, electronics, cleaning and break-room supplies, whiteboards, cork boards, and other large or heavy items.
Applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout. We do not add handling fees or hidden charges.
For carrier and safety reasons, furniture and large or heavy items are generally delivered to the curb, doorstep, or building entrance only. Delivery inside a home, office, or other premises is not included. The customer is responsible for moving these items inside after delivery.
In-store pickup
Products identified as “In-Store Item” may be available for pickup at our Hay River location. Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before coming to the store.
Pickup orders are generally prepared within two business hours; however, processing times may vary based on order volume and product availability.
Environmental handling fees
The following Northwest Territories environmental handling fees apply to eligible new electronics:
- Laptops, tablets, and notebook computers: $3.00
- Computers and servers: $10.50
- Desktop printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines: $8.00
- Floor-standing printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines: $40.00
- TVs and monitors under 30 inches: $12.25
- TVs and monitors from 30 to 45 inches: $24.50
- TVs and monitors over 45 inches: $40.00
